As a Front Desk Admin / Patient Care Coordinator, you’ll work in a supportive, professional, and patient-centered environment with opportunities to grow your skills and responsibilities over time.


What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be the “face and voice” of the practice, helping patients have a smooth, positive experience before, during, and after their visits. Typical responsibilities include:

Patient Check-In & Check-Out

  • Greeting patients warmly and creating a welcoming atmosphere

  • Verifying patient information and updating records as needed

  • Collecting copays and payments, providing receipts, and explaining charges

  • Scheduling follow-up visits, coordinating re-care/hygiene appointments, and treatment with the doctor.

Phones, Scheduling & Communication

  • Answering incoming calls and responding to voicemails and emails promptly

  • Scheduling, confirming, and adjusting appointments to keep the schedule efficient

  • Communicating clearly with patients about treatment times, pre-appointment needs, and office policies

  • Coordinating with clinical staff to minimize wait times and help the day run smoothly

Insurance & Financial Coordination

  • Collecting and entering insurance information accurately

  • Verifying benefits and eligibility (or learning to do so)

  • Explaining basic insurance coverage, estimates, and out-of-pocket costs to patients

  • Assisting with claims follow-up and documentation as needed

Administrative Support

  • Maintaining a clean, organized front desk and reception area

  • Printing, scanning, and organizing documents

  • Assisting with patient reminders, recall lists, and rescheduling outreach

  • Supporting office projects, reports, and other administrative tasks as requested

Who We’re Looking For

  • Comfortable talking with people in person and on the phone

  • Organized and detail-oriented, with good follow-through

  • Able to multitask in a fast-paced office while staying calm and kind

  • A clear communicator, both verbally and in writing

  • Reliable and punctual, with a strong sense of responsibility

Preferred (but not required):

  • Experience in a dental or medical front office

  • Familiarity with a scheduling software and basic insurance concepts

  • Bilingual skills (a plus but not required)

We’re open to candidates with front desk, customer service, hospitality, or office admin backgrounds who are excited to learn dental.


Schedule

  •  12-hour shifts and occasional weekend availability may be requested based on location and schedule
